Thank you to over 200 golfers and the many sponsors who generously supported BV’s mission through their participation, sponsorships, and charitable contributions at BV’s 28th Annual Golf Tournament on September 13 at Iron Valley Golf Club. The Development Team is excited to announce that the tournament was a huge success with net proceeds totaling $68,600 for BV’s Good Samaritan Fund!
Each event has its own unique flavor, and this year’s morning round will remain memorable for those who golfed during the round. Despite dense fog covering the course for at least the first hour, the winning foursome carded a 59 – 13 under par! As the day progressed, the fog lifted to reveal happy golfers who were enjoying the challenges of the course, the friendly Brethren Village volunteers, and fun with other Brethren Village friends and supporters.
Proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the Good Samaritan Fund which helps provide benevolent care to Residents who have exhausted their financial resources. As you can see, with the support of our donors, vendors, board members, volunteers and team members, we can truly make a difference in the lives of our Residents.
If you golfed with us, what did you think? Please click here to complete a short survey and let us know your thoughts which will help us plan another successful tournament for 2019. If there is anything that you would like us to know that isn’t covered in the survey, contact Samantha Rineer, Development Associate, at email@example.com.
Special thanks to BV’s 2018 Event Ace Sponsors: Benchmark Construction, The Graham Company and Sodexo.
Congratulations to this year’s winners!
