Good Samaritan Spring Celebration
The Good Samaritan Spring Celebration on April 30, 2026, was a vibrant and joyful evening at Brethren Village. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of Residents, families, team members, and friends, more than $150,000 was raised for the Good Samaritan Fund. This vital fund helps ensure that Residents who, through no fault of their own, can no longer afford their care and services at BV continue to receive the support they deserve.
Throughout the evening, guests were reminded of the life-changing impact of compassionate care through the story of Resident Roy Schroll. Hearing reflections from Roy’s nephew and learning about the support, dignity, and sense of family Roy experienced at Brethren Village brought the mission of the Good Samaritan Fund to life in a deeply meaningful way. The evening celebrated not only generosity, but the relationships, compassion, and commitment to care that define this community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a meaningful success. We are already looking forward to next year’s celebration!
