COVID-19 Update

A Team Member tested positive for COVID-19 during routine testing. Per our normal procedure, Brethren Village has promptly notified any Resident or Team Member who we know was in close contact with those who test positive.

TCY is in a YELLOW ZONE

The following services are suspended:

• Visitation
• No group activities
• Compassionate Caregiver visits only
• Volunteers

Given the substantial spread in Lancaster County, and the updated guidance from the CDC, Brethren Village is updating its mask mandate for all Residential Living Residents, and their visitors, effective Monday, August 16, 2021.

Masking for Residential Living Residents and Visitors:

• Masks will be worn indoors by all individuals (Residents and visitors) regardless of vaccination status
• 6-feet of social distancing is encouraged, and retail locations now have a posted maximum occupancy
• No masks while in the pool, but once you’re on the pool deck you need to don your mask
• Indoor masking includes wearing a mask on the BV bus for travel, and for trips sponsored by Activities
• We recommend Residents wear a mask indoors while off campus as well as practice frequent hand hygiene
• Residents with symptoms are encouraged to contact their provider for testing, regardless of vaccination status
• Vaccinated Residential Living Residents will be encouraged to pursue getting tested within 3-5 days after known exposure. Community Life will case manage if needed.

*Please note: The above guidelines apply to Residential Living Residents only. OSHA has specific requirements for all Team Members that include mask wearing, additional PPE based on job duties, social distancing, and frequent hand hygiene.

Village Manor is GREEN effective immediately

The following services can resume immediately:
• Visitation
• Dining Service
• Activities
• Therapy Services
• Beauty Shop
• Volunteers
• Terrace Crossing Medical Suite appointments

BV COVID-19 Case Update

The Resident case reported yesterday was determined to be a false positive. Therefore, that case has been stricken from the records. BV currently has 0 positive cases.

We will keep you updated on the color status of Village Manor.

A Personal Care Resident tested positive for COVID-19. Per our normal procedure, Brethren Village has promptly notified any Resident or Team Member who we know was in close contact with those who test positive.

BV currently has 1 active COVID case.

Additionally, Village Manor is currently a YELLOW zone.

• Family visitation (Compassionate Caregiver and Window Visits only)
• Beauty Shop
• Therapy as indicated
• Volunteers
• Wellness

An Independent Living Resident tested positive for COVID-19. Per our normal procedure, Brethren Village has promptly notified any Resident or Team Member who we know was in close contact with those who test positive.

BV currently has 1 active COVID case.

Terrace Crossing Memory Support is a GREEN zone as of 6/4/21.
Visitation and all services can resume on 6/4/21.

Independent Living Eases Restrictions Effective 5/19/21

Please note:

• This guidance change relates to independent living ONLY.
• All Brethren Village Team Members must continue to wear masks while on campus unless they are outside and alone.
• All restrictions and visitation guidelines for Personal Care, Skilled Nursing and the Rehab Center remain in place. Masks are required when entering those areas regardless of vaccination status.
• All visitors MUST wear a mask on campus unless they are fully vaccinated. If visitors are entering a supportive living area, masks must be worn until inside the Resident’s room.

Social distancing and occupancy limits will remain in place until June 1, after the Governor lifts the remaining restrictions for occupancy and distancing on May 31.
