LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA)

Brethren Village Retirement Community is an active member of LeadingAge. Members of LeadingAge serve Residents daily by providing care during their stay at the Village. The vision of LeadingAge is healthy, affordable and ethical aging services for America.

LeadingAgePA

Brethren Village Retirement Community is an active member of LeadingAgePA. LeadingAgePA represents more than 320 nonprofit providers of long-term care and housing services for 65,000 elderly residents across Pennsylvania. It is committed to helping its members provide quality care, efficiently and effectively, for the individuals and families they serve.

Fellowship of Brethren Homes

Brethren Village Retirement Community is an active member of the Fellowship of Brethren Homes. FBH fosters the ministry of giving and receiving care, as modeled by Jesus and embraced by the Church of the Brethren, through the development of resources, programs, events and leadership that connect persons and communities in their lifelong journeys toward wholeness. Brethren Village is one of 23 retirement centers that are committed to providing care for older adults as a ministry to those who are aging and their families. FBH works together with Brethren Village on issues of mutual concern, such as establishing connections between the homes and congregations and districts.

Church of the Brethren

Brethren Village maintains a close affiliation with the Atlantic Northeast District of the Church of the Brethren.

Brethren Village also maintains affiliation with Brethren Services, Inc. and Brethren Services II, Inc. Brethren Services, Inc. was incorporated on February 27, 1984, and Brethren Services II, Inc. was incorporated on November 24, 2004, for the purpose of providing housing for the elderly and/or handicapped under Section 202 of the National Housing Act.
