Brethren Village Concierge Services are here for your comfort.

Brethren Village offers convenience and flexibility by providing various and extensive Concierge Services designed to promote comfortable and carefree retirement living.

Brethren Village’s three Concierge Services desks are located in the Welcome Center, Village Center and Fieldcrest. The Welcome Center Concierge desk is staffed from 8 AM-4 PM weekdays and 9 AM-3 PM on weekends. The Village Center and Fieldcrest Concierge desks are open from 8 AM-3 PM weekdays.

Mail service, package service & stamp sales
Certified return receipt mail service
Voting forms/ballots
Provides Resident phone listings
Receives monthly statement payments
Dry cleaning service
Issues gift certificates for campus venues
Trip sign-up & reservations

Pharmacy

Health Direct maintains an on-campus comprehensive pharmacy on the ground floor of the Village Center. Open to Residents, visitors, staff and the community, this full-service pharmacy provides both prescription and non-prescription needs. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Village Stores

The Village Stores, operated by the Volunteer Services Department, are Resident-run general stores that carry a wide variety of food, toiletries and other incidentals. Accommodating Residents through special order requests and home-grocery delivery once a week, the Village Stores are located on the first floor of the Village Center and Fieldcrest Buildings. The Village Center store is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Fieldcrest Store is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Thrift Store

The Village Thrift Store, operated by the Volunteer Services Department, is a volunteer-run thrift shop featuring new and used items that have been donated to the Village. Open Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the store is located across the parking lot from the Rehabilitation Center in Cottage 26 and is open to BV Residents and the community. Proceeds from the shop are used to fund projects for the Village.

Gift Shop

The Village Gift Shop, located in the Village Center, is operated by the Volunteer Services Department, and offers a full line of small gifts and thoughtful tokens, greeting cards, stationery and notions. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Beauty Salon/Barber Services

The Brethren Village Beauty Salon provides hair care and beauty services to Village Residents Tuesday through Friday, by appointment. Located on the ground floor in the Village Center, salon services vary from hair coloring, shampooing and styling, to manicures and eyebrow arching. The Beauty Salon, which is managed by Generations Salon Services, holds a current license from the State Board of Cosmetology of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and each professional cosmetologist also holds a current license from the board. Guest Rooms

Guest Rooms are available for a fee to Residents’ friends, families or loved ones for a short-term stay at the Village. With sufficient notice, the Village can accommodate overnight stays and provide linen services to visitors on our campus. Payment is due at time of reservation, with check-in at 2:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. For reservations, please call Concierge Services at 717-581-4345 or 717-581-4226.
