Residents smile at the Opening Ceremonies of the Lancaster Senior Games held at Franklin & Marshall College the week of June 1. Residents participated in various sports from Bocce to chess. The Village sponsored Bocce for the 2009 Games.

'An Evening with the President' was the theme for the 2009 Good Samaritan Banquet held on May 7 at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren. Raising more than $62,000 during the evening, the entertainment was provided by a Teddy Roosevelt impersonator.
