$62,000 Raised at Good Samaritan Banquet

BV's Good Samaritan Banquet, held on May 7 at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, sported a crowd of more than 320 guests and raised $62,000 for the Good Samaritan Benevolent Fund.

Marked as the Village's largest fundraising event annually, participants enjoyed an evening with President Theodore Roosevelt as impressionist actor and speaker Keith McGough shared about the life of one of America's most influential, dynamic, and heroic icons.

The event began with an hors d'oeuvres reception hosted by our own Sodexo Food & Dining Department, followed by a meal prepared by the women's ministry group at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren.

The Village is thrilled that this event continues to grow and is supported by Residents, board members and friends of the Village. Next year's banquet will be held May 6, 2010 at the Middle Creek COB.
