Giving to Brethren Village: Your Will.... Leave A Legacy

We all want to be remembered and hope that what we leave behind will count for good and make a difference in someone's life. At Brethren Village, there are many ways for you to leave a legacy -- and do something very special for generations of people who will call the Village 'home.'
Imagine providing gifts that will serve countless numbers of people in perpetuity. Bequests that Brethren Village receive come in many forms: a specific dollar amount, a percentage or as a residual amount.

Here are a few things to consider when preparing your will:
Make sure it is accurate: A good will conforms to the legal requirements of your state, is prepared and signed correctly, and it fully expresses your desires regarding the disposition of your estate.

Make sure it is up-to-date: You want to be sure your will incorporates the most recent changes in tax law and reflects changes in your own life... keep it current.

Be benevolent! Do good things with gifts in your will! Make sure your will addresses the needs of your family, but also consider bequests to charitable organizations like Brethren Village.

We all have the ability to make a difference in the lives that follow by leaving a charitable legacy. We stand ready to help you fulfill your wishes. We'll work with you, your family and/or your estate planning professional to make your planned gift to Brethren Village easy and rewarding.
If you have the desire to give, please do not hesitate to contact the Development Office (717) 581-4316.
