BV Auxiliary Graciously Supports Initiatives

The resident-run Brethren Village Auxiliary serves our community in various capacities from organizing fundraisers throughout the year to providing needed volunteers around our campus improving the quality of life for residents.

Crucial to the success of Brethren Village, the Auxiliary has income sources streaming from the Gift Shop, Village Store, Thrift Shop, memberships, and donations.

This year, the Auxiliary identified several key initiatives they will be financially supporting in 2009 for the betterment of residents, friends, and visitors of the community. These initiatives include:

• Lead Gift Pledge for Capital Campaign
• Garden Spot Renovations (Lower Level) for Thrift Shop Relocation
• Window Coverings for the Chapel
• Special Locking Arrangement (SLA) Bracelets
• Lever Handles for Oakwood House Exterior Doors
• Resident Gardens Fencing
• Village Store at Fieldcrest Start-up Costs
