New Psychiatric Provider Offered at BV

Effective November 1, 2008, Brethren Village has changed the provider of psychiatric services offered to residents in residential living, assisted living, and in the healthcare center. Referrals on the BV campus are now being made to a new group called Elderly Care Counseling Services, LLC. Brethren Village is excited about our new partnership with Elderly Care as we strive to provide continual, quality, and compassionate psychiatric care to all our residents.

Elderly Care Counseling Services, a mobile psychiatric service, was formed to provide vital and meaningful support to seniors, adult care givers and various support staff of seniors receiving care. They provide services by psychologists, psychiatrists and clinical social workers all experienced with the needs of the elderly population; understanding and respecting the sensitivity needed for the personal nature of each resident.
