The Courtyards: Name Chosen for New Healthcare Center

A new building... a new look... a new name... The Courtyards!

Brethren Village is pleased to share the new name of our upcoming state-of-the-art, healthcare center with 78-private living units and 42-shared private living units. With an anticipated opening in Fall 2009, The Courtyards- a three-story building adjacent to Rt. 501- will feature a total of three courtyards!

An anticipated highlight of the building is the addition of a safe environment, known as a memory support household, which will have its own courtyard. These courtyards will add an opportunity for relaxation and enjoyment for not only our Residents, but family members, visitors, and friends.

The Courtyards was named by a Team Member group called the Person-Centered Care Committee, comprised of 14 valued employees.

This committee is dedicated to the well-being of Residents in the healthcare center and focuses on the implementation of new technologies, process reevaluation and culture change within the skilled nursing portion of our community.

As our redevelopment effort progresses, we remain committed to providing more options and even better services for all Residents.
