Capital Campaign Update: $3.9 Million Raised

Brethren Village's newest endeavor, a capital campaign entitled "Upholding the Promise: Building for Tomorrow" has raised an impressive $3.9 million toward a $6.2 million project goal.

In reference to the major redevelopment effort planned on the campus of BV, the capital campaign is aimed at raising approximately one third of the $17.7 million cost of construction for the new Welcome Center and Healthcare Center through philanthropic contributions.

"This charitable gift campaign is designed to ensure the availability of additional financial resources so that Brethren Village may meet its current and future debt obligations," said Joanne Stehr, Director of Development.

Seventy-seven individual gifts in the form of signed pledges, planned gifts and current gifts have been committed-- contributing to the $3.9 million total. Forty-four naming opportunities are still available in both the new Welcome Center and Healthcare Center.

"At Brethren Village, we've built a long and strong legacy of providing quality, compassionate care for seniors. We stand on the edge of the future with a fresh new vision that will enable us to continue offering our signature care, but in an expanded updated setting," President Gary Clouser commented.
