Harmony Quartet Ministries Entertain at Fundraising Banquet

BV’s Good Samaritan Banquet, held on May 6 at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, sported a crowd of 292 guests and raised more than $73,500 for the Good Samaritan Benevolent Fund.

Marked as The Village’s largest fundraising event annually, participants enjoyed an entertaining evening with the Harmony Quartet Ministries, a southern gospel group comprised of Dave Hirst, Dick Lamborn, Ken Diller and Neil Feltham.

The event began with an hors d’oeuvres reception hosted by our own Sodexo Dining Department, followed by a meal prepared by the women’s ministry group at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren.

The Village is thankful of the support by Residents, board members and friends of the Village. Next year’s banquet will be held May 5, 2011 at the Middle Creek COB. Mark your calendars and plan to attend!
