Final Phase of Redevelopment Effort Taking Shape

Brethren Village's transformational redevelopment effort is in the last stages of construction as Phase 3, Terrace Crossing at Brethren Village, nears completion. Phase 1 & Phase 2 of the redevelopment effort have concluded adding Covenant Crossing at Brethren Village, the Welcome Center & Wolfe Auditorium and The Courtyards, our new skilled nursing center.

Terrace Crossing Assisted Living and Memory Support— the Village newest addition to open in Fall 2010, is slated to add 61 new residences to the community. Located in the former healthcare center and currently under construction, Terrace Crossing will receive final touches on exterior modifications as remaining drywall is installed and painted inside during early summer.

Rapid progress is expected into early fall, where fixtures and furniture are delivered and installed followed by all required inspections. Assisted living apartments will range from 500 — 941 square feet with one bedroom, one bedroom suites and two bedroom suites all with personal full baths and kitchenettes. Memory support assisted living apartments will range from 280—422 square feet in a private suite with personal full baths.

The Accounting and Human Resources Departments will be relocating during late summer to the first floor of Terrace Crossing, which will also house an extensive fitness room, aerobics room and locker room for Resident use. Brubaker Manor will be taken out of service after these support functions move to Terrace Crossing.

The Village still remains on schedule and within budget in all construction aspects of our transformational redevelopment.
