BV Auxiliary Back 10 Projects in 10

The Brethren Village Auxiliary serves the campus community in various capacities from organizing fundraisers throughout the year to providing needed volunteers around our campus improving the quality of life for residents.

Crucial to the success of the Village, the Auxiliary has income sources streaming from the Gift Shop, Village Store, Thrift Shop, memberships and donations.

For 2010, the Auxiliary identified several key initiatives they will be financially supporting for the betterment of Residents, Team Members, friends and visitors of the community.

These initiatives include:
• Lead Gift Pledge for Capital Campaign
• Garden Spot Renovations (Lower Level) for Thrift Shop Relocation
• Sewing Machine for Craft Room
• Automated External Defibrillation Units (2)
• Automatic Door Opener for Fieldcrest A East Entrance
• Reclining Wheelchairs for The Courtyards Physical Therapy Suite
• Volaro Series 4 Resident Lift for The Courtyards
• Various Medical Equipment for Terrace Crossing
• Various Bed & Medical Equipment for Village Manor
• Wii Playstation for Resident Activities by Wellness Department

From new projects to ongoing campus improvement efforts, the Auxiliary is always welcoming to new Residents and those in the community to become involved.
