Brethren Village Home Care: Formerly Home Health Agency

Brethren Village has renamed the former Home Health Agency to ‘Brethren Village Home Care’ effective since February 1, 2010.

The name change reflects the implementation of new regulations by the Department of Health requiring for all home care agencies and registries to be licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Brethren Village Home Care is currently seeking licensure by the Department of Health as a result of these regulations debuted in mid-December 2009.

Founded in June 1985, the Home Health Agency was devised to provide care to those on the Brethren Village campus and in the greater Lancaster community.

Currently, Brethren Village Home Care provides assistance to more than 40 individuals monthly by a care team of 35 Team Members. These care professionals range from full-time, part-time to on-call employees such as Homemakers, Homecare Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses.

Brethren Village Home Care provides varied services from companionship and light housekeeping by Homemakers to medication monitoring and administration by our professional nurses. Home Care specializes in personalized, one-on-one care that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

Clients of Brethren Village Home Care include Residents in residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing and clients in the Lancaster area.

Brethren Village Home Care offices are located on the ground floor of Fieldcrest East, Entrance N.
