Welcome Center Open & The Courtyards Preps for Final Inspections
The Village remains on schedule and within budget in all construction aspects of our transformational redevelopment effort as we aim to enhance our current facilities and services.
The second phase of our three-phase redevelopment effort is nearly completed as the Village opened the multipurpose Welcome Center in July. The administrative space is already occupied as Residents Council and various programs are scheduled and underway in the 225-seat Wolfe Auditorium.
This redevelopment effort also includes The Courtyards, our new healthcare center. The facility features 78-private living units and 42-shared private living units and is anticipated to open early-October 2009. Final painting, landscaping, and interior decorating were completed during the summer months, as inspections by local authorities and the Department of Health were granted through September.
Construction efforts at two entry locations including the delivery entrance on Rt. 501 and the main entrance at Fieldcrest Drive are now fully functional.
January of 2009 marked the end of the first phase of the redevelopment effort as Covenant Crossing at Brethren Village opened its doors. A Covenant Crossing model apartment home is available to tour for prospective Residents and if interested, please schedule a personal appointment with the Covenant Crossing Marketing Staff at (717) 581-4414.
The Village appreciates the cooperation and support of the campus community for making this redevelopment possible. Founded on faith, we look forward to enriching each life we touch through the ministry of Brethren Village.
