Our Home Health Agency brings healthcare to you in the privacy of your own home while you remain in familiar surroundings while recovering from an illness or injury. Our caring and experienced staff helps patients in the Brethren Village community along with those that reside elsewhere in Lancaster County. The Agency promotes a care goal to restore and maintain independent function and health of the patient to an optimum level extending into the home with supportive personal care services that relate to activities of daily living.
Serving as a support for aging in place, the Home Health Agency supplements the care provided by the nurse by helping with daily needs. Patients are evaluated by a Registered Nurse who develops a plan of care with the patient's doctors, specialists, and family members. Services can be daily or several times per week and can include:
- Shopping & Food Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Assistance with Laundry, Bathing & Dressing
- Medication & Appointment Reminders
- Companionship
Our team of Home Care employees range from Homemakers to LPNs with oversight from an Registered Nurse.
