"Join the Wave" Pool Campaign 2012
"Join the Wave" as the Village prepares to build
a brand-new aquatic facility!
Help Brethren Village surge to success as we introduce our 2012 pool campaign in preparation to build a brand-new aquatic facility on our campus!
Built in 1989, our current 23-year old pool has outlived its life expectancy and is beyond temporary fixes. From Grey & Silver Mermaid shows to youth swimming lessons, our current pool and surrounding structure has been well-used but is now obsolete, energy-inefficient and in disrepair.
With Resident service and safety at the center of our decision, the Village would like to introduce our new energy-efficient aquatic facility and provide you the opportunity to contribute to this initiative!
Our new aquatic facility is much more than just a pool ... it's a place to meet new people, enjoy lap swimming, play with grandchildren and participate in an aquatics class. The benefits of aqua-exercise are superb for the senior population contributing to an increased range of motion, increased flexibility, strength, balance and overall improved quality of life.

A vital asset to the Village community and beyond, the new facility coupled with expanded programming will allow Brethren Village to serve future generations and enhance the lives of our Residents.
To strengthen the Village's financial plan related to this new aquatic facility, we are pursuing a campaign with the goal of raising $160,000 by groundbreaking in May 2012. We are looking for your support through donations both large and small ... will you join us? View our brochure to learn more.
Together, we are challenged with the task of raising 22% of the $735,000 cost of construction through philanthropic contributions. Thanks to an extremely generous bequest from the Naomi G. Shelly Estate a Village Resident for many years and allocated capital budget dollars, this goal is in reach and your gift can make this facility a reality.
Make a splash, jump on in and ... Join the Wave!
