Gary Clouser, NHA
President
Serving as Brethren Village President and Chief Executive Officer since 1983, Mr. Clouser is responsible for direct planning and coordination of the continuing care facilities and health care facilities at the Village.
Mr. Clouser began his employment at the Village in 1973 as Business Manager followed by Vice President of Operations in 1981 before becoming CEO. Mr. Clouser has contributed to the growth of the Village by providing leadership and direction in the following projects:
- Village Townhouse Apartments - $6-million facility consisting of 93-efficiency, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments and 19-personal care rooms
- Village Garden Apartments - $3-million facility consisting of 60-affordable housing efficiency and 1-bedroom apartments financed by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development
- Village Center - $3.5-million project which includes an array of resident services & amenities
- Fieldcrest Independent Residential Building- $15-million project which includes 137-studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 2-bedroom deluxe apartments
- Health Care Center Addition - $2.5-million addition to the Health Care Center adding 69- additional beds
Mr. Clouser also has several professional and civic affiliations including the Saint Joseph Health Ministries Foundation (Board of Directors), Lancaster Regional Medical Center (Member, Governing Board), Lancaster County Planning Commission (Member, Housing Plan Steering Committee), and the Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (Member, Board of Directors). A resident of Lititz, Mr. Clouser holds a B.S., Elizabethtown College and an M.B.A., Shippensburg University. Mr. Clouser is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Pamela Formica
Vice President Finance
Joining the Village as Chief Financial Officer in 2002, Mrs. Formica has served as Vice President Finance since June, 2003, overseeing the Accounting, Corporate Compliance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Risk Management and Insurance departments.
A resident of Lititz, Mrs. Formica holds a B.S, Elizabethtown College.
Philip Hollinger
Vice President Support Services Residential Administrator
Mr. Hollinger has served at the Village since 2004, with direct responsibility for the Village's Facilities Management, Pastoral Services, Materials Management, Food and Dining Services and Home Health Agency departments.
A resident of Elizabethtown, Mr. Hollinger holds a B.S. and an M.A., Pennsylvania State University.
David Parkhill
Vice President Health Services
Mr. Parkhill joined Brethren Village in 2006 with over twenty years of professional experience in the nursing home industry. At the Village, Mr. Parkhill has direct administrative responsibility for the Healthcare Center, Assisted Living and related supportive functions.
A resident of Elizabethtown, Mr. Parkhill holds a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from City University in Bellevue, Washington.
